On Monday, June 29th, 2026, the Energy Policy Research Foundation, together with the Institute for Energy Research (IER), cohosted a workshop entitled “Rethinking American and Allied Energy Security” in Washington, DC. The workshop was organized around three panels: Energy Supply Disruptions and Why This Is Different; Making the U.S. Transportation Sector More Resilient; and U.S. and Allied Measures to Bolster International and Energy Security.
